Toddler—Kindergarten

Story Focus: Jesus’ miracles are amazing. Week four, we see Jesus do a miracle in the midst of common, everyday fishermen. When they threw their nets out, they caught nothing. When Jesus told them to throw their nets out again, they caught so many fish their nets began to break! Jesus is amazing!

1st—5th Grade

Next, we discover another one of Jesus’ parables found in Matthew 25:14-30. A businessman went on a journey and left three of his workers in charge of some of his money. Two of the workers turned a profit while the third buried his portion, did nothing with it, wasted his opportunity for growth, and ended up having it taken away. Bottom Line: Make the most of what you’ve been given. God has given each of us responsibility over something—money, talents, even our stuff. Kids will discover some of the ways they can remember that everything we have comes from God. We pray kids discover how they can use those things wisely.

MESSAGE FROM PASTOR HOPE

I miss you and your precious kiddos SO MUCH!!  Parents, I believe with all my heart that God is working tremendous good in the midst of the bad. My prayer for you is that you see the good He is doing within your family, so that you can cooperate with Him with hearts filled with gratitude, confidence, and peace.

Confidence can be tough in new, uncertain situations (like homeschooling and having to stay home) BUT friends, we truly can be confident in any situation because we each are led by Holy Spirit. I encourage you to “seize the moments” of daily-life situations with your kids to teach them about God and His ways. Seize those moments! And do so in the confidence and peace that only comes from reliance on Holy Spirit. He is just as available to YOU as to anyone! Be at rest knowing He is leading you as a parent. We simply get to follow His lead, which takes the pressure off, doesn’t it? Know that God is working in your family and your kids’ lives! Ask Him to help you “see” how. Reflect on this scripture and let confidence rise-up within you:

John 14:26-27 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

With much love,

Pastor Hope
